I DON'T WANNA HIKE

Today we decided to go hiking at Lair O' the Bear park.  By "we", I mean me, Sam and Jack (a little bit).  Ryan, however, was quite vocal in his desire NOT to go hiking, and we heard all about it on the 20 minute drive.

I brought the Ergo carrier in case Ryan needed a piggyback ride, but he hiked the entire path (almost 1.5 miles) all on his own. As I told Sam, "Nature wins!" Jack made it about halfway before asking to be boosted into the Kelty - mainly because he had a hard time walking and eating his snack at the same time.

It turned out to be a great day (but maybe that was just because we promised Ryan a trip to Costco afterwards - that boy loves his samples...).
