BFFs

Okay, maybe it's a little early to assume that they'll be friends forever, but the six-month olds from our Survival for New Moms group seem to enjoy spending time together for now. On Saturday afternoon we got together at Jena, James and David's house.

Clockwise from Ryan - Julianna, David, Rowyn and Turner (not pictured - MacKenzie)

The kids' birthdays are all within two weeks of each other, but Ryan and Turner's are the closest. When I was in labor, our midwife kept leaving the room. Finally she apologized and explained that she had another laboring mom in the next room who had been pushing for hours. I didn't find out until a few months later that Turner was the one taking his sweet time coming into this world. He arrived around 11 pm Thursday night, Ryan appeared at 12:52 a.m. Friday morning).

The girls looked so pretty in their summer dresses/rompers (though MacKenzie looks like she's saying, "She said whaaaaat?! Oh no, girlfriend!"). Julianna appears fascinated by Rowyn's feet.

"Oh, talk to the hat. Lalala, I can't hear you!"
(and now Julianna is fascinated by her own feet)

The boys, meanwhile, look like they just woke up the morning after a hella frat party.

"Dude, I am NEVER drinking tequila again..."

Ryan was sitting SOCLOSE to David and he kept putting his hand on David's back. So cute!
