Photo of the Day - Stock Show Parade

Ryan, Jack, Grandma Nancy and I went down to see the Annual Stock Show Parade through downtown Denver - it was not nearly as nice weather as last year and we missed the beginning (it's quite remarkable to see a herd of longhorn cattle being driven through the Financial District!), but it's still a fun outing, and Sam was able to leave work and meet us.
Among the mounted drill teams, antique tractor brigades, horse-drawn stagecoaches and other parade shenanigans was this guy:

Kickboard, Baby, Yeah!

A couple of months ago when we went to the pool, there was a kickboard lying on the side of the pool.  It didn't appear to belong to anyone currently in the pool, so we borrowed it for a while.

Ryan and Jack loved it - they loved floating on it, practicing kicking, being towed by me or Sam - but they didn't love sharing it.  When we left the pool that day we left the kickboard behind, but a couple days later I found one on clearance at Target.

The boys were excited to have their own kickboard, but again, they were not happy to share it.  So I found two adorable shark themed kickboards on clearance (it's not exactly beach season here!) and ordered them.

Well, now we had THREE kickboards!   When we made plans to meet Kristine, Raymond at Eli at the pool today, I asked Ryan if he thought Eli would like to use the Spiderman kickboard.  Did he ever!
